Visas

	General Information

The Consular Section of the Embassy of Brazil in Cairo issues visas to Egyptian nationals as well as to third country nationals resident in its area of jurisdiction who wish to travel to Brazil.

Brazil has a reciprocal visa policy with all countries, meaning that whenever prices and restrictions are applied to Brazilians visiting a country, Brazil adopts the same measures for that country's visitors.

Tourists and visitors from Mercosul countries do not need to present passports. They are only required to present their national ID cards. Visitors from other countries must present a passport that is valid for the next six months.

Further information on Visas and necessary documentation for Egyptian nationals are present bellow. Information for other nationalities can be found at www.braziltour.com.

As of April 1, 2010 applications for passports and visas will be made through or on-line system, available at the following address: https://scedv.serpro.gov.br
